The anthem is fine as is

I haven't been blogging much lately. I find that there hasn't been that much to have gotten jacked up about since the PM decided to prorouge Parliament, but that's changed since the denizens of the Hill have returned. I figured it would only be a matter of time before some party would engage in a display of mindboggling stoopidity. But never did I think in my wildest dreams did I think that it'd be the Tories.

What in the name of all that is good & true would posess the Pm to think that it'd be a good idea to mess around with our anthem?? Has there been some massive groundswell calling for a change of some sort?? No. Is this even an issue that is on the radar for the majority of Canadians?? No. This is & has always been a botique issue for the extreme left, namely all those man hating radical feminazis who, with no real issues to get worked up about these days, obsess over emasculating the english language. That's who cares, & I cannot for the life of me, why Harper is worrying what those broads think.

Does the PM & the genuises advising him really think that Canadian women are so lacking in intelligence that they think that b/c of "all thy sons command", the anthem is a boys only proposition?? C'mon, I have no doubt the feminazis think so, as they are so out to lunch that they'd believe any sorta nonsense.

Bottom line, it's well meaning but how many times have terrible ideas been foisted upon people who are well meaning?? The only people who care about emasculating the Anthem are the bra burners, & no matter what they do they'll never support the CPC, & if they ever started to i'd probably reconsider my support of the party. This is not gonna sell w/ the vast majority of women, who thankfully, are more intelligent & sophisticated that the proponents of changeing the anthem give them credit for being. Back to the drawing board folks.
